Originally the home of an early 20th-century millionaire playboy, Houstonia regularly played host to the powerful, the wealthy, and the glamorous. Now in its second decade as a bed & breakfast, this former F.B. Houston home designed in the 1890s gives visitors a glimpse back to the times of the rough riders, the Titanic, Model T's, doughboys, suffragists, and The Charleston.

You'll have full access to the historical areas of this home. Enjoy an evening sunset on the wrap around front verandah as you sip a drink... Choose sodas, coffees or teas, all complimentary, available in the butler's pantry.

Take a bicycle tour of the village on bikes we have for you. Or see the countryside like yesteryear's train passengers did. Much of the Pennsylvania Railroad has been turned into a trans-Ohio bicycle path linking Cleveland and Cincinnati. The bike route goes right through South Charleston.
