The Housley House Bed and Breakfast & English Garden

The Housley House B&B with English garden is the place to stay in Grand Rapids, Ohio because when you stay you have access to the whole historical house! You can sit in the parlor and enjoy the authentic 1800's marble fireplace, in the library you can read as you have a special cup of tea, in the dining room you can gather and play cards, eat dinner or just sit around the table and talk. There are a variety of guest rooms and each has its own private bath. Each room is accented with beautiful woodwork and marble pieces set in 19th century Victorian and Colonial style. Three rooms have comfy queen-size Victorian beds with luxurious bedding that adds to the romantic feel of the Victorian age.

With each overnight stay, Teresa Marie and Don will make sure that your stay is a treasured moment to remember. When you arrive, there will always be warm cookies made fresh that day by Teresa marie and they will be placed on your bed waiting for you to enjoy. Fresh flowers from the beautiful English garden will be accenting your room when in season and homemade oatmeal soap and soap petals will be that added touch to make your stay even more special! And before you close your eyes - Teresa marie will spoil you with something sweet, like a piece of pie, cake or one of her specialty scones! Then as you wake in the morning you will have a thermos of hot coffee or tea awaiting you outside of your bedroom door. Breakfast will be served at the time of your leisure and at the location you desire, whether it is out in the English garden next to the wonderful sounds of the 3 tiered water fountain, on the front porch where you can sit and watch the rushing waters of the historical Maumee River & Front Street, in the formal dining room or in the privacy of your room.

The Rose Room - Overlooks the beautiful English Garden. Has a carved sleigh bed, private breakfast and reading area, wireless hookup, private bathroom with 2 person shower, CD player, complimentary bottle of wine, fresh homemade cookies and a 4 course gourmet breakfast in the morning.

The Walter & Lily Room - Ground Floor Room, Beautiful Romantic Rod Iron Canopy queensize bed w/ sheers and beautiful flowers accenting it. It comes with 36 inch flat screened TV, rocking chair, Central Air, Free Wireless Internet, walkin closet and HUGE beautiful private bathroom 2 person shower.
