The Housley House B&B with English garden is the place to stay in Grand Rapids, Ohio because when you stay you have access to the whole historical house! You can sit in the parlor and enjoy the authentic 1800's marble fireplace, in the library you can read as you have a special cup of tea, in the dining room you can gather and play cards, eat dinner or just sit around the table and talk. There are a variety of guest rooms and each has its own private bath. Each room is accented with beautiful woodwork and marble pieces set in 19th century Victorian and Colonial style. Three rooms have comfy queen-size Victorian beds with luxurious bedding that adds to the romantic feel of the Victorian age. With each overnight stay, Teresa Marie and Don will make sure that your stay is a treasured moment to remember. When you arrive, there will always be warm cookies made fresh that day by Teresa marie and they will be placed on your bed waiting for you to enjoy. Fresh flowers from the beautiful English garden will be accenting your room when in season and homemade oatmeal soap and soap petals will be that added touch to make your stay even more special! And before you close your eyes - Teresa marie will spoil you with something sweet, like a piece of pie, cake or one of her specialty scones! Then as you wake in the morning you will have a thermos of hot coffee or tea awaiting you outside of your bedroom door. Breakfast will be served at the time of your leisure and at the location you desire, whether it is out in the English garden next to the wonderful sounds of the 3 tiered water fountain, on the front porch where you can sit and watch the rushing waters of the historical Maumee River & Front Street, in the formal dining room or in the privacy of your room. |
 There is no better place to have your morning coffee, afternoon tea or evening glass of wine ..... than our beautiful English garden! It is also that perfect spot for that intimate gathering! |
| Teresa Marie has spent the past 30+ years in the catering/Bed and Breakfast field. She has worked hard and with much love, to make a name for herself in the art of hospitality, cleanliness & the ability to touch the beginning of your day with a breakfast &/or brunch to remember. For that added touch, Don and Teresa Marie will deliver a thermos of coffee or tea to your door each morning for that private "starter" before breakfast! Her specialties are blueberry bread pudding, her own specialty scone and a green chili egg casserole. | ||
