Apple Suite
 The beauty and aroma of fresh Apple Blossoms and Rose Petals greet you at Grandpa's Bed and Breakfast Suites. Set just north of Amish country, these exquisitely decorated suites provide comfort and relaxation with the flexibility to shop and dine at nearby specialty stores. Upon arrival you will receive the key to your room from Grandpa himself at the Cheesebarn adjacent to the Suites.

He will welcome you with a complimentary gift basket full of specialty items just for you. You will also receive a certificate for breakfast next door at Perkins Family Restaurant, or you may enjoy lunch at Grandpa's Cafe, located in the lower level of the Cheesebarn.

Thirty minutes away or less includes: outlet malls, hiking and canoeing at Mohican State Park,
Amish Country, horseback riding, Mohican Hills Golf Course, antique malls, Ashland University, and
Mid-Ohio Race Track. Come enjoy the beauty and splendor of Ashland and North-Central Ohio.

While you are here make sure and shop at Grandpa's Cheesebarn offering the Finest Cheeses, Homemade Dips, Cheesespreads, Homemade Chocolates and Speciality items found anywhere. Let us pack up a custom gift basket for you to take home so you can enjoy these delicious products at home. And don't forget our online catalog where you can purchase our products and we can ship them directly to your door. Our gift certificates make unforgettable gifts!

Each room has a fireplace, Jacuzzi, queen size bed, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, TV, and DVD player. Guests receive a basket filled with sparkling juice, cookies, chocolates, a small cheesebag, and a package of Grandpa's Bed and Breakfast stationary. Pop, Water, Coffee & Tea are included in your package and available in the room.

Apple Suite

The Apple Suite welcomes you with a Jacuzzi, warm fireplace, and private bath with shower, kitchenette, and a queen-sized canopy bed. There is plenty of room to enjoy the wicker white-washed furniture and the knotty pine walls. This beautifully decorated room would make even Johnny Appleseed feel at home!

Rose Suite

The Rose Suite's hidden pocketed doors open into a blooming rose garden featuring a light pink Jacuzzi perfect for relaxing. The large 20' by 30' bedroom has plenty of space for the queen size bed and crackling fireplace. The walls are sprinkled with pink roses, and the white patio doors lead to a private deck. There is also a private bath with a shower and a kitchenette. The Rose Suite is a perfect name for this sweet hide-away.

Rates & Policies
  • A $15 voucher for either breakfast at Perkins next door or lunch in Grandpa's Café is provided for each morning.
  • Check in is at 2 pm
  • Check out is at 12 noon.
  • Sunday through Thursday room price is $148.84 per night - this includes all applicable taxes
  • Friday through Saturday room price is $159.95 per night - this includes all applicable taxes
  • Each additional night is 10% off.
  • Once a reservation is made, it is non-refundable. This reservation may be used on some other date if the guest is not able to stay the night(s) indicated.
  • Any cancellations will be accepted up to 24 hours prior to reservation with a rain check issued. Otherwise the reservation will be forfeited and the credit card will be billed for the nights indicated.
  • Also any missing or damaged items will be billed for the nights indicated.
  • This is a non-smoking facility; if the room smells of or there is evidence of smoke in the room there will be an additional charge of $75 added to your credit card.
