Grand Rapids is a village in Wood County, and is home to many surprisingly delightful B&B establishments. The town is located very close to the Maumee River. On the second Sunday of October each year, the town hosts the Apple Butter Festival which has attracted as many as 70,000+ visitor with food, fun and more. The Strawberry Festival is held near the town with a focus on strawberry food and other fun.
