Introduction
Situated on a hilltop site in the historic gaslight district of Clifton, the Gaslight Bed & Breakfast offers plush hospitality with quick access to the University and downtown Cincinnati areas. This elegant four-story home draws you up under the branches of its gently waving willow, calms you with the murmurs of its bubbling waterfall, and fills you with feelings of leisure and coziness. The exterior delights of Gaslight are just a preview of the luxury and hospitality to come.
Built in 1909, the house suffered extensive damage in a terrible fire on New Year's Eve 1998. Lovingly restored by owners Scott and Maria Crawford, the house offers all of the modern conveniences a busy traveler needs, yet retains the charm of the original stained glass windows and hardwood floors throughout.
The original house boasted an in-law suite at the front second floor of the house. In the renovation, the "in-law" entrance was preserved for use as a separate entrance for guests. While experiencing the intimacy of personal hospitality, guests can come and go without feeling intrusive.
Each of the four guest rooms available at Gaslight Bed & Breakfast is unique and features...

The wide wooden staircase opens into a gracious second floor common living room with plush, overstuffed furniture, high ceilings, and huge windows that open onto a porch. Shady and breezy, this porch offers the perfect place to have morning coffee with the paper or to settle in with iced tea or lemonade and a good book.
An unhosted, well-stocked kitchen on the second floor offers late night snackers and extended-stay guests a place to prepare meals for themselves. Both kitchens have complimentary snacks and beverages available throughout the day.
Gaslight also offers a third floor living room, adjacent to the breakfast kitchen. A full homemade breakfast is served each morning in the breakfast kitchen. The menu is constantly changing to include seasonal favorites, but the coffee is always freshly ground and there is always plenty of juice.
