Our Ohio Amish Country bed and breakfast is in the heart of Holmes County.
We are noted for our evening campfire & perennial gardens!

We are located in the heart of Holmes County Amish Country, home of the World's largest Amish community. Our B&B sits on a rolling hill surrounded by Amish farms and yet we are close to dining, shopping and major attractions.

Our guest rooms are far from ordinary. You have your choice of a traditional room, a deluxe-king room with a fireplace or a Jacuzzi suite with a fireplace. You'll get a great night's sleep on our deluxe mattresses that have 350-600-thread count sheets. You love our over-sized bath towels. The 5-star bath amenities are custom made for our B&B and you are sure to want to buy some to take home. You will find bed side chocolates from Coblentz Chocolate factory, bottle water in your room, a CD-alarm clock, hair dryer, and other comforts to make you feel right at home.

One of the things that guests love so much about Garden Gate Get-A-Wayis our evening campfire. When all of the shops and restaurants close you can retreat back to our bed and breakfast and unwind around the warmth of campfire. We always have marshmallows on hand to roast and this is a great time to share your daily adventures with other guests.

Each morning you will awaken to the aroma of freshly baked goods. We serve a deluxe continental breakfast that includes homemade coffeecakes, breads, and/or muffins, along with Amish granola, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, coffee, tea and juices. A sample menu might include Amish Granola Bread, Blueberry Streusel Coffeecake, Lemon-Raspberry Muffins, Sausage Cheddar Puffs, Cereal Basket, Fruit & Yogurt Parfaits, Orange Juice, White Grape-Peach Juice, Coffee, Tea, and Hot Chocolate.

Camp Fire

We can arrange for you to have dinner in the home of our Amish neighbor, on-site couples or single massages, back roads tours, golf, horse & carriage rides, fine dining reservations, and more! Let us help you to really experience Amish Country!

Holmes County is the home of the largest Amish population in the World. What this means for tourists is that you will find homemade and home-baked goods, furniture, crafts, antiques, great food, and much more.
