Located in the heart of Holmes County, Ohio's beautiful Amish Country, Fields of Home Guest House Bed & Breakfast welcomes you to experience the peace and quiet of the country where the land is farmed in the old fashioned way.

Listen to the clip clop of horse's hooves, the croaking of the frogs and the singing of the katydids as twilight falls. Our wrap-around porch provides ample room to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds that abound. Fields of Home Guest House is conveniently located near Berlin, Mt. Hope, Millersburg, Walnut Creek, Winesburg, and Sugarcreek. Attractions in the area include cheese making, hand crafted wooden furniture, as well as small craft items, quilt shops; Amish farms to visit and take a buggy ride; The "Behalt", a mural which depicts the history of the Amish and Mennonites dating back to 1525 to the present. Sugarcreek is known as the Little Switzerland of Ohio; in Walnut Creek you'll want to stop for a sample of Coblentz Chocolates and a tour through the beautiful Carlisle House gift shop. On Wednesday you'll be able to visit the Mt. Hope livestock auction, produce market and flea market. Several area Bulk Food Stores offer you a way to save substantially on food items such as spices, nuts and flavorings. Last but not least is the food, food, food, cooked to mouth-watering perfection. Every turn in the road offers you another good restaurant to try out.

Built into a hillside, our log home provides a view of the spring fed pond and meadows, the sounds of the countryside, and rocking chairs on the front porch to help you enjoy the simple life.

Fields of Home Guest House offers five comfortable guest rooms with solid log walls, plus two seperate individual log cabins. Each room has its own private bath, central heat and air, queen size beds, radio/CD players and ceiling fans. Complimentary coffee, tea and soft drinks are always available. Our reasonable rates keep our guests returning again and again

Four guest rooms have whirlpool tub/shower combination baths; two rooms offer a cozy gas-log fireplace as well as a kitchenette with a microwave and refrigerator. Three rooms are accessible to the physically challenged. Our new Hickory Room features a two person jacuzzi and a beautiful electric fireplace.

Breakfast is served from 7:30-9:00 a.m. consisting of a variety of fruits and a tempting array of baked items including a variety of muffins, bagels, coffee cakes and sweet rolls ; along with granola, cereals, juice, tea and coffee.

Gift certificates are available for holiday gift giving or for any special occasion. During the winter you can take advantage of reduced off-season rates.
