The Schwartz Room, a refreshing refuge from everyday cares decorated in soft greens echoing the gardens outside, features a Jenny Lind queen-sized four-poster bed, elegant chaise longue, and antique slant- top desk to inspire the budding writer. The suite also features the Inn’s only jacuzzi bathroom, a cool tiled room that makes the perfect setting for a little pampering.

Across the hall, the Yarnell Room features a king-sized four-poster bed in a spacious setting with love seat and easy chairs. The bathroom, down one step and a short hallway, reveals the original design of the house and adds historical charm to the suite.

At the front of the house, the McIlvaine Room features an east-facing bay window offering a glorious morning view over the cottage garden. The room’s amenities include a queen-sized four-poster Pineapple bed, a cozy love seat, and a modern corner bathroom with shower stall. Many of our long-term guests prefer this suite for its comfort, charm, and beautiful view.

Downstairs, the Ruth Bartel Room is situated directly off the back parlor, giving guests who stay here both the tranquility of a private suite and the sociability of having a “public” room all their own. The queen-sized Victorian bed, nestled into the corner, leaves room for two comfortable wing chairs, features a recently renovated bathroom, and is a favorite of those guests who prefer entry-level accessibility.

All of the rooms are air-conditioned in summer and offer color cable television and complimentary wireless Internet for guests. Phones are provided for outgoing calls. Our room rates range from $75 to $90 per night, but for special-event weekends the premium rate is $100 per night. We offer a special rate for those guests wishing to rent to whole house or who choose to stay for an extended period. To make a reservation, please book by email or by phone. We accept credit cards (VISA and MasterCard), cash, and checks. If you need to cancel, we require 48 hours’ notice or we regret we will need to charge you for one night (which can be credited to a future stay). We hope that the information and services listed here will make your visit a relaxing, nourishing experience: Check-in is from 3-6 PM or by prior arrangement. We provide a lockbox for late arrivals and returns. Check-out is by 11 AM. On-street parking is available. Smoking is welcome outside only. Gift certificates are available.
