June
Come catch a show at the College of Wooster as the Ohio Light Opera performs 8 different shows such as Oklahoma, throughout the summer from June 20th - August 9th. For more information and tickets go to www.ohiolightopera.org or call 330-263-2345.
Visit our farmers market in downtown Wooster every Saturday morning beginning June 7th - October 25th from 8am - noon.

10th - Strawberry Social - Strawberry shortcake & ice cream, 4:30 - 8-30 Christmas Run Park Pavillion
14th - Wooster Chautauqua - Christmas Run Park will be the site of living Wooster history, from native Americans to a Civil War-style encampment to the
"Happy Days" of the 1950s. 11am-5pm
14th - Javapalooza - Independent Music Festival, public square downtown Wooster. 5pm-midnight.
20th - Concert/Cruise In - 50's-70's live music with classic cars & street rods downtown Wooster 7pm-10pm
21st - Grand Re-Opening of the Beall House - The Wayne County Historical Society will officially re-open the Reasin Beall House on East Bowman Street after an extensive restoration effort. 2pm-8pm
21st - Wooster's Historic East Side/ Tour - Throughout its history, Wooster's east side neighborhoods have had a vibrant neighborhood life all their own. Come find out how this section of city lived and thrived and left a lasting imprint of Wooster's history. 2pm-8pm.
25th - US Army National Guard Band - Downtown Wooster 7pm.
28th - US Army Jazz Ambassadors - Downtown Wooster 7pm - 8:30pm
July
4th - Wooster Fireworks - Celebrate the birth of the nation and the City of Wooster with fireworks at Kinney Field. This year -- Wooster's Bicentennial -- expect a little extra "boom" in this annual event. 10pm (or dark)
5th - Wooster's Bicentennial Parade - The City of Wooster throws itself a birthday party, complete with a Grand Parade through its historic downtown. The parade steps off at noon from the Wayne County Fairgrounds, a reviewing stand will be set up at Market and Liberty streets on the north side of Public Square.
9th - Wooster Community Band Concert - 7pm lawn of the Wayne County Historical Society - Bring lawn chair
12th - Bird Walk with the Greater Mohican Audubon Society - 9am-11am - Secrest Arboretum OARDC
13th - Wooster Arts and Jazz Fest - 11am-5pm Downtown Wooster
16th - Wooster Community Band Concert - 7pm lawn of the Wayne County Historical Society - Bring lawn chair.
16th - Evening Summer Walk at the Secrest Arboretum - 7pm-9pm OARDC

1st-2nd - Festa Italiana - 10am-11pm downtown Wooster. Enjoy two days of great Italian food, and live entertainment, Visit www.festaitalianawooster.org
2nd- Annual Star Party - For all of you star gazers, view the starts and planets through telescopes at Wooster Memorial Park. 8pm

th - A Night of Historic Movies - Come to the College of Wooster's Papp Stadium and be part of the crowd for this showing of historic Wooster movies from 1912 and 1938. 8:30pm rain date August 10th.
