The campground has sites with electric and water for tents and RV's, 40 RV sites with full hook-up, phone hook-ups, restrooms with showers, laundry and two dump stations. A family campground that offers swimming pool, recreation hall, volleyball court, basketball court, Bocce Ball court, horse shoes, childrens playground and wading pool.

Yellow Lantern is located in Cortland, one mile from exit #11
off Interstate 81 on Route 13.

Yellow Lantern Kampground (YLK) was built upon the former Graham Farm on the outskirts of Cortland, located in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. Phase One of construction began on January 8th, 1972 with the facility open to customers shortly thereafter on June 28th. Originally built with 50 campsites, an office, gift shop, laundry and restroom facilities, the camping resort has expanded to include over 225 sites, recreation building, swimming facilities and visitor access to the natural beauty of the Tioughnioga River.

In 1987, Yellow Lantern Kampground underwent a change in ownership and was subsequently purchased by a family in Upstate New York. The new owners implemented many initiatives and introduced one of the hallmarks of YLK- the ever-popular themed weekend. Among them is the annual Christmas in July event, which includes tree-trimming, themed activities and culminates with a visit by Santa Claus. This is followed by Halloween in August, which is marked by haunted hayrides, apple cider and camper-to-camper trick-or-treating. As popular as the themed weekends have become, visitors to Yellow Lantern can also experience bi-weekly activities including candy hunts, scavenger hunts, bowling for groceries, hayrides and much, much more!

  • Early departure from your campsite is recalculated using applicable Daily,
  • Weekly and Monthly rates listed above. Nothing is Pro-Rated.
  • Rates are based on a family of four. Additional people are $5.00 per person/per night,
  • $40 monthly, or $90 for the entire season. A Day Pass for visitors is $3.00 per Day Per Person. Visitors may not bring in pets or bikes into the facility. Visitors may not use the pool.
  • On Site Dumping Service (requires 24 hours advance notice
