Woodstock, located in the northern part of Ulster County, is famous for its annual Film Festival held in late September. This event draws many celebrities to the area, so you should not be surprised if you meet your favorite star while staying in a Woodstock bed and breakfast. Apart from the Film Festival, the area also organises the Woodstock Farm Festival, a celebration of the farm heritage and a good way for the whole family to have lots of fun. If you choose a B\u0026B in the area for your holidays, be sure to visit the Artists Cemetery, a resting place for many Woodstock musicians, and pay your respect. Afterwards, you should visit the Echo Lake, a magnificent mountain lake in the indian wilderness of the Catskill Mountains, and listen to the music of nature. Before returning to the Woodstock inn you are staying at for a peaceful sleep, make sure you visit the Bear Cafe, recommended by Gourmet Magazine as being one of the best cuisine in the area. If you prefer to feel like a resident of Woodstock, you should go to Joshua's Cafe, a local favorite for over 30 years.
