| Introduction |

Willow Hill House Bed & Breakfast, in Southold, in the heart of the North Fork wineries and beaches was built in the mid-1800s by a whaling ship's captain. We are in the historic village of Southold and a few minutes by car from the fishing village of Greenport and the eastern end of the north fork at Orient Point. |
Three guest rooms have country antiques, full beds and air conditioning. Two of the rooms are upstairs and share a bath. One room is on the first floor. There is a first floor bath, but is not private.

Check-in 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. · Check-out 11 a.m. Your hostess, Gayle Birkmier (born in New Orleans) and your host Jack Birkmier (born and raised in Babylon, Long Island) serve a full country breakfast in our dining room and, if you choose, a taste of the South, with grits or "Pain Perdu" (French, which literally means "lost bread", also known as French Toast). |
