Entrance Hall

Entrance Hall Attorney William Martin saw this home in England in the late 1800s, bought the lot in Mayville in 1895 and finished the house around 1899-1900.

Local folklore has it that he had European artisans do the woodwork in the home. A classic example of this woodwork can be seen in the photo (left) of the inn's Entrance Hall.
