The Village Inn Bed & Breakfast
Mayville (Chautauqua County), New York
A charming Victorian home with plenty of small-town pleasures!

Sunny dining room for serving breakfast. My home is eclectic in furnishing with many antiques - some are family heirlooms.
|

Overflow breakfast area. Note the fret and spandrel "ginger bread" above doors -- pocket doors -- and fireplace.
|
Note the green chair on the right of the Dining Room picture (left). It is one of a set of card table chairs purchased from the Miller Cottage at Chatauqua Institution. Mr. Miller's daughter was Thomas Edison's wife. Tom and his think tank buddies -- the Packard and Studebaker car company people among many others -- sat around the card table and did their thing.
