Victorian Bed & Breakfast of Staten Island - Staten Island, New York Come to the Victorian Bed & Breakfast for a comfortable stay on Staten Island. This elegant house is located on the North Shore of Staten Island in the town of West New Brighton. It's only 15 minutes by bus to the famous Staten Island Ferry. This fine Italianate Villa built in 1846 is crowned with a cupola and has a marble fireplace in every room. Original Victorian decor of circa 1860 includes chandeliers, mirrors, and many pieces of furniture. In this jewel of Victorian splendor, many prominent New Yorkers were lavishly entertained, such as Edward G. Robinson and famous gangster Bugsy Siegel. Guests will enjoy warm hospitality, home cooking, and pampering by its hostess with a penchant for restoring old homes and recreating the spirit of a bygone era. Want more reason to stay with us?

Dining Room My husband and I stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The bed was extremely comfortable, the breakfasts were delectable, and the innkeeper, Danuta, was wonderful company. All of her extra touches make you feel like a cherished friend rather than a visitor.

"I just wanted to write to provide some feedback on my stay at this property this past weekend. I have to admit; I don't know why anyone would stay in an expensive NY hotel with options like this B&B available so nearby. The proximity of this B&B to the Staten Island ferry makes for a pleasurable and scenic ride into the city, past the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, not to mention the view of Manhattan. The beautiful Victorian house and all the innkeeper has done to restore its elegance, made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay that no hotel room could provide. I have stayed at many B&B's, but found the innkeeper's personal style and approach for hosting guests unmatched. The unassuming and low-key way she put so much effort into making sure we were taken care of is unique and special in this industry.
