Sparrow Hawk's warm and inviting facility is ideal for groups. Whether inside, outdoors or a combination of both, the grounds and facilities are ideal for small intimate and romantic weddings, parties, special events and functions.
The large (13x15x9 1/2 ft) bedrooms, fully air-conditioned, open onto wide (10 ft) halls. Each room with its special decor of antiques and furnishings add grace and romance to this Federal style building.
Some of the rooms with original fireplaces, lit by candlelight, add a soft and warm glow to the colors and textures. Each room is unique in itself, all with
large private baths that are rooms in themselves.
Behind the old house is our Grand Room (25x35x17 ft high) with cathedral windows on three sides opening onto a (25x30 ft) Blue Stone Patio where many leisurely breakfasts have been served. The Grand Room with its Library Balcony (books, magazines, TV, videos, CD/Cassettes) has "cradled" many of our guests in all four seasons. Under the balcony, around the fireplace, a full gourmet breakfast served by chef/owner Howard--from hot baked muffins to fresh brewed coffee and everything in between.
