A Slice of Home Bed and Breakfast is located in a quiet, romantic, rural setting, 15 minutes from Ithaca, NY and 30 minutes from Watkins Glen, NY, close to many events, sites, and wonderful restaurants that this area has to offer. We are located within walking distance of the new Hollybrook Country Club, which is open to the public. We are a short distance to Cornell University and Ithaca College, Corning Museum of Glass and four New York State Parks surrounded by wineries, antique shops, and cross country skiing and bicycle trails. Our location is bicycle friendly too! We specialize in daily self-tour planning. We'll help you to see the sites: the best wineries, restaurants, antique shops, parks, waterfalls and hiking areas! (Or contact Mark at Summit to Stream Tours to choose from a variety of winery and outdoor tours.) We even have a new driving range about 1 mile away from our B&B, open from sunup to sundown - bring your own clubs! Enjoy a scrumptious country-style breakfast (You won't need lunch!) in the country atmosphere of our farmhouse, built in 1840 in the Italianate style. Breakfast will be served to meet your morning schedule. Our spotless rooms have private baths and attractive furnishings. We are open all year, air conditioned, with a television in each room. A hot tub is available for all guests lodging with us. Golfing is within walking distance. We now have wireless Internet for our guests. |

Area maps are furnished for self-guided tours in order to help our guests see the most important sites, such as Taughannock Falls, which is higher than Niagara Falls, and Watkins Glen with its famous gorge. Enjoy Cayuga Lake and Seneca Lake Wine Trails and dine at the best area restaurants. The new Tioga Downs racetrack with harness racing and video gaming is a short drive from our B&B. Open every day, racing continues until mid-September, and the casino is open all year. For the sports enthusiast we can offer suggestions on where to hike, swim, photograph waterfalls, and bike. Cross country ski trails begin right off our back porch! We have some of the best hunting and fishing in the country. |

| The King Bedroom | The King Bedroom has a spacious king bed, an en suite private bath and is appointed with antique décor. |
| The Queen Suite | The Queen Suite has two rooms. One room has the queen bed, dresser, TV and a lot of open space. The adjoining sitting room has a comfy single bed, a second TV and a refrigerator. The Queen Suite has an en suite private bath. |
| The Queen Plus Room | The Queen Plus Room has a queen bed, a single bed and antique décor. The private bath for the Queen Room is at the bottom of the stairs. The room is immediately at the top of the stairs for our guests' convenience. |
| The Annex | The Annex encompasses the entire back of our B&B. It has its own private entrance with sliding doors that lead to a private deck and hot tub. The room features a spacious king bed. A single bed sized futon, as well as table & chairs, a dresser and misccellaneous items are also provided. From this room you will have the opportunity to enjoy a splendid view of the fields and mountain in our back yard! |
| Lilac Cottage | Lilac Cottage is cozy, comfortable and offers privacy since it is separated from the main house. It sleeps six (two bedrooms), two baths, living room, dining area and a full kitchen. Breakfasts are provided in the main house for cottage guests. The Lilac Cottage also features a private covered deck. Rates are presently $150 to $200 for two guests. There is an added charge for additional guests. Children are conditionally welcome. Pets must be approved in advance. |
| Log Cabin | The Log Cabin is in the woods, just three miles from our B&B site. Up to six guests can comfortably use the three bedrooms, two baths and a spacious living area. A large covered porch makes reading, eating, and drinking coffee/cocktails comfortable in a natural and quiet outdoor setting. Peace and quiet are the rule since you are renting the entire cabin. This home is ideal for a peaceful getaway - no TV, and lots of woods to enjoy. Minimum rental is for two nights and the price depends on the time of the year, the number of days and the number of guests. There is a discount for more than three consecutive days and between the dates of April 30th and November 30th. Rates are between $150 and $275 per night. (College graduation/activity weekends may be more.) |

Seasonal Rates (4/15-11/15) are $80 to $220 Off season rates from $70 to $180 (Higher prices on some specific weekends.) Discounts for weekdays, multiple night stays, and repeat guests. Children are conditionally welcome. Pets must be approved in advance. |
