Yet, when you turn onto Horatio Street you are in a tranquil oasis. Near the magnificent new Hudson River Park, this part of the West Village is the best place to live in Manhattan. My Greek Revival residence, circa 1840, retains much of its original feeling. Standing on the front stoop, you can watch the sun setting over the Hudson River. A curved staircase leads to the second floor. There are two large double rooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with twin beds. The large, modern bathroom is shared by the guests on that floor.

Downstairs Apartment One-bedroom apartment with private entrance, queen bed, private bath, new kitchen, fireplace, direct access to garden, cable TV, VCR, and A/C. Sofa bed in living room $3,300 per month; Available for stays of three months to one year.

Reservations and Information
  • Continental breakfast is available.
  • There may be a 4-night minimum on some advance reservations.
  • Special rates available for longer stays.
  • A 25% deposit may be necessary with your reservation.
  • The deposit is fully refundable if cancellation notice is received 10 days prior to arrival date.
  • No credit cards. Please pay balance in cash, traveler's checks or personal check upon arrival.
  • Tax and city charges are additional when applicable.
  • No Smoking.
