Introduction
We invite you to spend a relaxing interlude in our charming 1819 Federal Style home, located in a tranquil country setting in the heart of the Finger Lakes. Our home sits on 8 acres of beautiful countryside. The exterior of The Red Brick Inn represents one of the outstanding examples of Federal architecture in central New York. The interior is decorated with period furnishings in the parlour and throughout the home. Our country kitchen is very open and inviting, most conversations start here. A wood burning stove warms the kitchen in the winter.
In the morning, you'll awaken to a full country breakfast which includes a fruit dish and a hot entrée served with juice, coffee and tea. In the evening, enjoy home baked refreshments in our parlour. A well stocked refrigerator with complimentary beverages is also available to all of our guests.
Sit by the pond and enjoy the music of chirping birds, curl up with a good book by the fireplace in the parlour, take a stroll through the beautiful countryside or relax in our cozy hammock under our majestic pines.
The Inn offers five lovely furnished guest rooms, each featuring country views, private bath, and air-conditioning. Each room is equipped with a personal sound system, feel free to bring your own CD's. There is plenty to read from our collection of novels and current magazines.
The 1819 Red Brick Inn is centrally located between Seneca Lake and Keuka Lake, and is near the towns of Watkins Glen, Penn Yan and Hammondsport. Take advantage of all of the attractions the Finger Lakes have to offer: Wine Tours, Golf Courses, Hiking and Biking Trails, Museums, Outlet Mall Shopping, Antique Shopping, Cross Country Skiing, The Windmill Farm and Craft Market, Races at Watkins Glen International Raceway and much more. After a long day of touring, enjoy dinner at one of the many lakefront restaurants or board a dinner cruise around Keuka or Seneca Lake. There's something for everyone in the Finger Lakes.
