The Red Barn Bed and Breakfast offers 3 guest bedrooms, including a suite that accommodates 4 people in 2 adjoining rooms. All have private baths and central A/C, and enjoy wireless connection to the Internet. Our Bed and Breakfast is a lovingly restored 1877 farmhouse that is on the State and National Registers of Historic Places, and is a designated Landmark in the Town of Riverhead.

Farms and vineyards surround our beautiful North Fork setting. Centrally located in the heart of Long Island Wine Country, we are walking distance from many wineries and a short drive to others on the North Fork. Red Barn Bed and Breakfast is just 2 miles from beaches on the Long Island Sound and 3 miles from the Peconic Bay.

You'll never want to miss breakfast at the Red Barn B & B! Our 3 course breakfasts are all homemade including scones, muffins and breads to start, a hot entree such as Frittata, Quiche or Buttermilk Pancakes and delicious desserts like our Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler. Menus change seasonally to make use of fresh, local ingredients. All produce and eggs are local and organic whenever possible. We are members of Slow Food USA. Iced tea or Lemonade and homemade cookies are served on the porch on summer afternoons. Hot chocolate, tea or coffee and cake are served in the parlor on winter afternoons.

Remember the Simple Pleasures? Relaxing in a hammock under a shady maple tree, sipping lemonade in a rocking chair on the porch, a friendly game of horse shoes or croquet on the lawn, birdwatching, star-gazing or sitting in front of a fireplace on a winter's Eve, this is what the Red Barn B&B is all about!

The Blue Room Accommodates 2 people, with a comfortable double bed and private bath.
The Suite Features two adjoining rooms, each with a double bed, accommodating 4 people. Private bath.
The Sleigh Bed Room Accommodates 2 people, with a deluxe queen sized bed and private bath.
We have an upstairs parlor adjacent to the guest rooms and a downstairs living room with TV,
stereo, books, games, etc. You can choose your space for privacy or company as you please.

Rates & Policies
  • A deposit of one night or 50%, whichever is greater, will hold your room with the balance due on arrival.
  • Minimum stay is 2 nights during season.
  • We accept credit cards, cash or checks.
  • Cancellations: Full refund minus $30 handling fee if 14 days notice is given. Otherwise, refund will be 30%.
  • Blue Room: $195
  • Sleigh Bed Room: $195
  • Four person Suite: $295
  • Ask about our low off-season rates.
  • Check-in is 3 to 6 pm. Make special arrangements for later check-in.
  • Check-out is 11 am.
