| Introduction |

Plumbush is less than one mile from the historic Chautauqua Institution, five minutes from Red Brick Farm and a ten minute drive to the village of Mayville for fine dining, shopping, art galleries, as well as countless music events. Just a thirty minute drive east will take you to Jamestown, New York; home of the Lucille Ball - Desi Arnaz Museum, Roger Tory Peterson Institute and the Robert H. Jackson Center. After a thirty minute drive west you will be at Peek'n Peak Resort and Conference Center where winter skiing and summer golf is available. This elegant country 1865 Victorian bed and breakfast was the family home of Wesley and Jane Ann Cornell. Plumbush has specific characteristics which identify it as a home of the Italianate Victorian style; a central tower, L shaped floor plan, rounded arches over windows, double wide entrance door, detailed cornice trim etc. |

 The Chautauqua Room |
Sandra and George Green purchased the home in 1987. The Greens completely restored the house, built a beautiful barn and created the Plumbush Bed and Breakfast. Plumbush sits on 5 acres of lovely countryside; each window looks out to nature at its most beautiful, no matter the season. With towering oaks, rolling hills and soft meadows, it is always a breath taking experience for guests. Bert and Mary Rappole purchased this property in November of 2005. They have decorated each room in unique style while keeping the heritage of the Cornell family and the restoration of this farm house by the Greens in mind. |

| The Wesley and Jane Ann Cornell Room | Center stage is a French themed carved wood Vera Bradley quilted headboard and footboard queen bed, matching Vera Bradley linens, European pillows and duvet. There is an antique pine chest, writing desk with unique chair. Huge walk in closet. The adjacent private Victorian bathroom has a claw foot tub, pedestal porcelain sink and separate large shower stall. | $149 | $129 |
| The Chautauqua Room | Guests enjoy a restful night in the massive cherry four poster king size bed. A custom made armoire for traveler storage, a leather top writing desk with matching chair and wing back chair complete this very attractive room. | The Ezra Cornell Room | This second floor room has a more gentlemanly touch with a cherry king size sleigh bed. There is also a writing desk and custom made burgundy armoire as well as an elegant three drawer black chest trimmed in natural cherry for the travelers storage needs. | The Janeva Cornell Room | This room features a white rattan queen size bed with matching bed side table, writing desk and chair and soothing sage green carpet. Bi-fold doors take you into the private bath with shower and white porcelain pedestal sink. | $129 | $109 |
| The Green Room | This second floor room has a queen size bed with carved cherry French headboard, garden multicolored floral wall covering and silk balloon shade window treatment. The oak chest is a family heirloom of Mary Rappole's. A writing desk and chair provide a great spot to send off a note to those at home.
