Pine Haven is conveniently located only an hour and a half from Manhattan on the edge of Hudson Valley, under the Schawangunk Mountain Ridge. For the active, there are plenty of opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, golfing or antiquing, a full list of which is supplied by the proprietor in addition to a list of her personal favorite walks which she and Daisy will be very happy to fill you in on…….they have walked them ALL ! |

So, if you want a short break from the hustle and bustle of city life, get back in touch with nature for a few days and remember; the feel of grass under your toes, laying on your back looking up through swaying branches, the smell of fresh mountain air, the taste of fresh organic food when you are really hungry and the feel of warm swirling water warming your body in the cold night air. Allow your senses to come alive in 10 safe acres of paradise, accurately defined as an artist's heaven.

A full breakfast is served between 8:30 - 10:00 either in our Dining Room, or outside in the garden. This includes juices, fruits, omelet with choice of ingredients, or crepes, breads and sausages. We do ask our guest about their food preferences, and try to accommodate different dietary requirements, as we understand that some of us are vegetarians and others not. Some are allergic to milk, and others to tomatoes, however, we like it healthy and wholesome, though, should we be caught in sinning, it should be worth it. In the afternoon, we serve tea and homemade pie or cookies.
