In our finely furnished downstairs parlor or on the indoor sunporch, guests are welcome to relax and rest while visiting Cooperstown, the National Soccer Hall of Fame, Hartwick College, the State College at Oneonta and surrounding areas.

Introduction

The Murphy House-33 Walnut Street-

Oneonta, New York The Murphy House is a traditional bed and breakfast home, that was built in 1920. Walking distance from Main Street, it is located in the historic district of Oneonta; and noted for comfortable beds, interesting conversation, and a good cup of coffee.

Many people stay with the Murphys while visiting Cooperstown, the National Soccer Hall of Fame, Hartwick College, and the State University at Oneonta. This property has received a ‘seal of approval’ from the Empire State Bed and Breakfast Association, and the Christian Hospitality Network.

Accommodations
The Stanton Suite - with queen and twin beds, a private adjoining bath, a sitting room, cable tv, air-conditioning, and WiFi. Double occupancy rate: $125-$150/night plus tax.
Mrs. Hanks’ Suite – with a king bed and pull-out twin bed, a private hallway bath, a sitting room, cable tv, air-conditioning, and WiFi. Double occupancy rate: $125-$150/night plus tax.

A full breakfast, served every morning, may include French toast with fresh raspberries, quiche with homemade bread and jam, or apples baked in puff pastry.
A deposit of $50/night per suite is required. Reservations must be canceled 30 days prior to arrival for a full refund, provided that your room is re-rented. Payment can be made via personal check, travelers check or cash. Sorry, charge cards are not accepted, and a minimum-stay may apply.
Check-in is usually between 3 and 10 p.m. Check-out is 11 a.m.
