The Inn on the Library Lawn

Stroll to one of Westport's fine local restaurants, for both casual and fine dining.

Spend your day exploring the scenic High Peaks of the Adirondacks, historic Ticonderoga, Lake Placid, and Ausable Chasm. Enjoy boating out of Westport Marina, golf at the 18-hole championship course at the Westport Country club, and attend the latest production at the Depot Theatre.

Plan your next party or cater your banquet at The Inn on the Library Lawn. Plan your next executive retreat or team-building outing at The Inn on the Library Lawn. We offer exclusive use of the entire Inn for such events from November 1st through April 30th (excluding holiday weeks).

• Reservations can be secured with a 50% deposit.
• The balance is due upon arrival.
• Full refunds will be granted for cancellations requested more then 14 days prior to scheduled arrival.
• A two-night minimum reservation is required for July and August weekends.
• All room rates subject to change without prior notification.
• Rates are based on double occupancy, plus tax. Each additional guest will require an additional $25/night (rooms #6 and #8 only -- all other rooms maximum two guests). Due to the historical nature of the Inn, each room can accommodate only the number of individuals as confirmed in the reservation. If the number of individuals in your party increases, contact us for additional room availability. The Inn does not have cots or roll-away beds.
• The room rates are higher during the hi-demand weekends of 7/19 and 8/16
• Check-in is from 3 to 8 pm. If you plan on arriving after 8 pm, please let us know so that we can arrange for a late check-in. This will entail providing a 100% deposit, and then receiving instructions on how to obtain access to the building and your room.
• Check-out is 11 am. Late check-out service is provided upon request at the rate of $60/hour for a maximum of 2 hours.
• Smoking is allowed on all patios and outdoor areas.Guest rooms and other indoor areas are always smoke-free. A $125 cleaning fee will be charged for any evidence of smoking within the guest rooms and/or the building. Heavy smokers should consider other accommodations.
• The Inn exclusively accommodates adults 16 and older (no children - a $400 fee will be charged for each child that arrives without a reservation).
