Lady of the Lake B&B has been voted #11 B&B/Country Inn in the U.S. for the "Best Weekend Escape" by Arrington's "Inn Traveler" magazine This elegant Queen Anne Victorian B&B is located in the heart of the village of Skaneateles; across the street from the lake; and one block from the quaint shops and restaurants. Built in 1894, each room is filled with antiques, hardwood floors and oriental rugs. Each guestroom features luxuriously thick mattresses, the finest linens, as well as oversized and overly thick towels and robes. All baths are "En Suite" and vary between an old claw foot soaking tub and a modern shower.

Guests love to watch the sunrise over Skaneateles lake; walk the village sidewalks past mansions of a bygone era; sail, play golf or watch a band concert in the park across the street while sitting on our wicker filled porch. Or curl up by the fire with a book from our extensive library.

Enjoy a gourmet breakfast of baked German pancakes, "egg blossoms" or Belgium waffles prepared by your hostess and owner, Sandy Rademacher. Sandy's attention to detail is apparent in everything from the fresh flowers in each guestroom to the lace toilet paper holders from Portugal that are in each bath.

All guest rooms have central airconditioning, "en suite" baths, cable TV/DVD and high speed internet access (both wireless and wired).

The Stella is the largest guestroom; has a white iron king size bed tucked into an alcove of windows which provide a beautiful view of both the lake and lovely treelined street of the village. The attached bath has a modern shower. King with attached bath: $170 in season/$136 off season (1/1-4/30 except Valentine's weekends)

The Mary a handsome queen size room decorated in dark green stripes and paisleys. It has a fabulous view of both the village and the lake. The en suite bath's focal point is the architecturally elegant window and arc deco appointments including the shower. $175 in season/$140 off season (1/1-4/30 except Valentine's weekends)

The DeEtta is the sunniest guestroom; has a lovely view of the lake and faces quiet West Lake Street. It has a queen size turn-of-the-century brass bed, large chestnut armoire and pumpkin pine "bachelor's chest". The attached bath has the original claw foot soaking tub which has been adapted with a great shower. Queen with attached bath: $165 in season/$132 off season (1/1-4/30 except Valentine's weekends)
