Introduction

In the center of the Great Estates Region and across from The Vanderbilt Mansion in Hyde Park, Journey Inn Bed & Breakfast offers you a warm and gracious welcome. Upon arrival and throughout your stay, we invite you to sample our butler's pantry. It's stocked with hot and cold beverages and cookies to enjoy as you begin to unwind. Relax in our sitting or reading rooms, use the game table or the writing desk as you plan your stay. Enjoy wireless internet access in every room. Breakfast in The Morning Room will send you off and in the evening after a full day of adventuring, retire to one of our guestrooms and cosset yourself in a comfortable bed outfitted with fine pressed linens. Five of our guestrooms and suites reflect the places we have loved best, during our world travels, while two pay homage to our "neighbors," the Roosevelt's and Vanderbilt's. We welcome you to Hyde Park. The pastoral beauty has inspired painters, poets and even politicians. Let it inspire you to return.

Rates and Policies

Rates range from $150 to $225 per night plus tax.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation for more than a one night stay.
A 2 night stay on all weekends is requested.
Tax is an additional charge.
For reservations of one night only, full payment in advance is required.
Deposits are refundable if you notify us at least two weeks in advance.
Payment by Visa, Mastercard, Personal Checks, Traveler's Checks or Cash.
A 3 night stay requested on all holiday weekends and a 2 night stay requested on weekdays from May through November.
A $50 per night charge for 3rd person in each suite.
Children 9 years and older are welcome.
Guests are welcome to check-in between 4-6 p.m. (arrangements can be made in advance for alternate arrivals).
Check-out time is 11 a.m.
Private parking on grounds.
We cannot accommodate pets.
Smoking permitted on front porch.
Rates are subject to change.
