Introduction

The Inn at Green River is located in the Hudson River Valley, in the foothills of the Berkshires. The Inn is a great starting point for a wide variety of activities and events, including Tanglewood and the area's exploding cultural scene.

This simple 1830 Federal-style farmhouse is shaded by ancient sugar maples above a meadow where Cranse Creek flows into the Green River. The Inn offers upscale lodging in seven guest rooms, many with fireplaces, deep-soaking tubs, two-person showers or Jacuzzis - in short, a superb place for a romantic getaway, whatever the season.

The Van Deusen Room
The Van Deusen Room		 Guests return to the Inn year after year, drawn by the Inn's casual elegance, its beautiful, tranquil setting - a welcome break from city life - and by Deborah's warm hospitality and scrumptious breakfasts, described as "feasts" by The New York Times.

A full breakfast is elegantly served in the candle-lighted dining room, or on the screened porch. Freshly baked scones, biscuits, local jams and fresh fruit are constants. The innkeeper's specialties include Lemon-Ricotta Pancakes, Omelettes with Honey Ham, Basil and Tomato and Malted Pear Pancakes.
