living room Our Greek Revival Inn will take you back in history to a quieter time. The Inn is furnished with antiques, interesting paintings and historical artifacts. You will enjoy a gourmet breakfast featuring fresh fruit, fresh juice, muffins, six types of pancakes, four types of French toast, eggs to order, and our very own "Fox Inn Green Flannel Hash".

The Fox Inn offers four guest rooms and one guest suite all with private baths. The Lucy Hall Fox Room and the William Fox Suite feature queen canopy beds, while the William Oliver Room and the Dorothy Fox Irving Room have whirlpool tubs for your enjoyment.

During 1820 and 1821 William Morris Oliver built the house now known as The Fox Inn. He was the first Judge of Yates County, a New York State Senator, Leut. Governor, a US Congressman, and founder and President of Yates County Bank.(Click here for more history)

The Orr family purchased The Fox Inn in January of 2000. They have furnished the Mansion with period furniture and renovated the rooms to accommodate the 21st century traveler while carefully maintaining the integrity of the mansions architectural beauty.
