The Sunflower Room
The Sunflower Room - Van Gogh intended to decorate Gauguin's room with his paintings of sunflowers in the so-called Yellow House that he rented in Arles in the South of France. He and Gauguin worked there together between October and December 1888. Wishing to capture and convey the warmth and glow of our summer sunflowers, we dedicated a room in the Inn to this vibrant flower.
Bright and cheerful best describe this room that enjoys the morning sun, and decorated in shades of yellow, white and blue, and featuring a queen-sized 4-poster canopy bed. Copies of Van Gogh's 'sunflowers' decorate the walls.
Unlike the rustic rooms Van Gogh rented in Arles, you'll enjoy a private shower - complete with a hair-dryer, and all the amenities to make your stay comfortable. Of course, you can expect to find a Satellite TV and a flickering fireplace (and airconditioning in summer) too! A refrigerator is available downstairs in the main living-room to store snacks and drinks.
