The Englewood Guest House is centrally located within The Chautauqua Institution. The 'season' of Chautauqua Institution's summer of fine programs is from the last week in June through the 3rd week in August, when weekly reservations are accepted; nightlies from mid-May to the last week in June & from the last week of August through October at reduced rates. During 'season' a light breakfast is served on weekends before one embarks on enjoying the Institution's delightful menu of lectures, concerts, opera and theater. Boating, golf, tennis and nature walks are also readily available. No-charge for bikes nor Internet. For information on Chautauqua Institution programs, directions, etc. click on www.ciweb.org |
During the 'off season,' all the beauty and activities of Chautauqua County are available: golf, tennis, boating, birding, dining (from great pizza to fine gourmet), movies, theater, hiking and wine tasting and museums (Lucy-Desi Museum, Roget Tory Peterson Museum and Robert Jackson Law Center in nearby Jamestown).
The Englewood Guest House has porches, a living room, a kitchen and bicycles for guests' use. Our rates are very reasonable. During the season our rooms are $850-995 per week, including weekend breakfasts and use of guest kitchen. During the off season our rooms are $65-85 per night with all subsequent nights at half price.
