Introduction
Imagine yourself in a charming, restored, 1829 farmhouse, on a hilltop, surrounded by 118 acres of pasture, fields of hay and corn, hills and valleys, waterfalls and woodlands.
The main section of our farmhouse was built in the 1820s and many of the original features have been preserved to enjoy 180 years later.
Furnished with a blend of antiques and fine furnishings, our home is a place of delightful rooms, perfect for your comfort and relaxation. Floor to ceiling windows look south to farm valleys, west to the Adirondack mountains, and you may witness some of the most spectacular sunsets east of the Grand Canyon.
Wander nature trails in our woods or spend a quiet afternoon by our mountain stream with its series of waterfalls.
Located midway between Vermont and Saratoga, we are 20 minutes to either. Our guests come here for: Racing season in August/September, foliage in October, skiing in nearby Vermont or right here on our own Willard Mountain, antiquing, hunting, and fishing (the Battenkill).
Explore the Historic Battlefields at Saratoga and Bennington. Over 200 years ago, this area was the site of the turning point of the Revolutionary War that gave America its Independence. Don't miss the National Historic Park at Saratoga and some of the Commemorative Re-enactments.
