Hardenbergh, the architect whose later achievements included the Dakota Apartments and The Plaza Hotel in New York City. The Inn at Cooperstown continues a long tradition of providing genuine hospitality and distinctive accommodations in the heart of Cooperstown, New York.
The Inn at Cooperstown offers clean, comfortable lodging just a short walk from the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, shopping and fine dining. It is centrally located to Cooperstown's many attractions including Glimmerglass Opera, Fenimore Art Museum, The Farmers' Museum, Brewery Ommegang, Leatherstocking Golf Course and Otsego Lake.
The Inn at Cooperstown was fully restored in 1985 and has been thoughtfully improved upon every year since. Each of the 17 guest rooms is tastefully decorated, air-conditioned, and has a private bath. Most accommodate two guests, and there are a few adjoining rooms for families. One lovely suite has many special features including a sitting room with private phone line, a separate bedroom, and a full bath with tub. All guest rooms are equipped with a hair dryer, ironing board and iron, CD/clock radio, and wireless internet access.
