An old mansion awaits you on Long Island's Gold Coast...
The Luxurious Carr Bed and Breakfast
Now...
The Carr Bed & Breakfast is located on Eaton's Neck, just north of Northport, Long Island in the Township of Huntington. The mansion, known as "The Hill," was built in 1902 as the focal point of a sprawling 500 acre Summer Estate for Beaux-Arts architect Harry Ellingwood Donnell (Don-Nell) as a gift to his wife. Teddy Roosevelt was a frequent guest and Rube Goldberg drew cartoons in the Library. Today, "The Hill" remains on five lush acres surrounded by beautiful gardens, lawns, and woods with views of the water.
Whether you are looking for the ultimate romantic getaway, a relaxing vacation spot, or just a place that feels like home while on business, the Carr Bed & Breakfast offers a unique experience.

Five Lush Acres Surrounded By Beautiful Gardens
Beaches are minutes away, as is shopping in historic Northport Village. Unlike some historic villages, downtown Northport is not a haven of traffic jams and never-ending tourists. It's quiet, quaint, and removed from the typical tourist crowd. You won't want to miss its historic architecture, unique restaurants, and eclectic mix of stores. It's a hidden, genuine, old New England town well worth exploring.
Within 10 miles are numerous attractions such as the Vanderbilt Mansion and Planetarium, the Huntington Cinema Arts Center, and Historic Cold Spring Harbor Village which boasts a whaling museum and Fish Hatchery. Within an hour are wineries, South Shore beaches, and above all else, New York City.
