Introduction
Welcome to our 20-acre country retreat where you can unwind in the serenity of nature while enjoying all the amenities Brookfield Farm has to offer. Feel your cares melt away as you float on a lounge chair in the sparkling pool, or soak up the sun on a pool side chaise. Beach towels are provided for your convenience. Get reacquainted in the hammock for two, stroll down to the stream to sit and listen to the frogs and crickets, explore the garden, or get to know Nessie and Beckah, our Scottish Highland cows and Uly, Beckah's calf, born July 13, 2007.
At the end of the day, get a restful night's sleep in one of our beautifully furnished and immaculately maintained suites. Wake the next morning to the aroma of fresh baked muffins or bread and the prospect of a delicious, home made breakfast after which you'll be ready to enjoy all the glories of the Hudson Valley region.

The Guest Suites
Each of two light and airy guest suites has a private bath, air-conditioning, refrigerator, TV/DVD, phone, iron, terry robes, hair dryer, eating & sitting area, and views of the garden, meadow, and woods. You will be pampered with fresh flowers in your room and a nighttime chocolate on your pillow.
Breakfast
A picnic breakfast will be waiting outside your door by 8:30 am for you to enjoy in the privacy of your suite or outside by the pool. It includes coffee (if you're a coffee drinker), fresh sliced fruit, and delicious homemade breads and pastries with accompanying jams/jellies. Your kitchen is stocked with assorted whole fruit, hot and cold cereals, various teas, juices, milk, yogurt, ice water, etc. We are vegetarian friendly and welcome carb counters. Let us know in advance and we will prepare a scrumptious breakfast for you!

Scottish Highland Cows
Brookfield Farm is home to Nessie and Beckah, our Scottish Highland cows and Uly, Beckah's calf, born July 13, 2007. They all love attention and guests are welcome to get to know them. They'll gladly accept a treat (that we provide) from your hand, a pat on the head, or a good scratch under the chin.
Brookfield Farm is located 8 miles south of New Paltz in the historic Hudson Valley region of New York state. Nearby are Minnewaska State Park, Mohonk Preserve and the Mountain House, the Shawangunk Wine Trail, Wallkill Valley Rail Trail,great Hudson River mansions, historic Huguenot Street, the Culinary Institute of America, West Point, and more. The area offers a treasury of wineries, antique shops, farm markets, historic sites and great restaurants. Other nearby activities include horseback riding, biking, rock climbing, hiking, cross-country skiing, golf, and sky diving.
