Exceeding your B & B expectations Welcome to the romantic 1795 Acorn Inn... noted for its rich décor, warm hospitality and superb attention to detail. A relaxing stay at our historic Federal Stage Coach Inn is surely to be a treasured memory. The Inn is truly among the hospitality elite in North America and will exceed your Bed and Breakfast expectations. The 1795 Acorn Inn is the only B & B in New York State to have been awarded the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award for nine consecutive years.

Enter into the Gathering Room and be embraced by its charm and elegance. The room’s décor transforms with the seasons... cool and refreshing in the summer, warm and comforting in the fall and winter. Take pleasure in a gourmet breakfast served by candlelight in our Dining Room. Savor one of our many plentiful breakfasts such as French Toast Crème Brule or Spinach and Bacon Strata and enjoy the company of new-found friends.

Within the soundproofed Inn, four luxurious guestrooms with private baths provide seclusion. In addition, a spacious suite located in our 100 year old barn delivers complete solitude. Newly remodeled with total comfort in mind, the Barn Suite is the ultimate retreat.

Complimentary beverages, ice and snacks are available at all times. And, for those that simply must stay connected, wireless high-speed internet is best utilized from the Gathering Room.

The Inn is surrounded by walled gardens and wooded areas. Comfortable, intimate seating arrangements are scattered throughout. A cascading fountain and bubbling ponds further promote relaxation. And a quilted hammock nestled under impressive trees provides the perfect place to take a nap, catch up on your reading or watch for shooting stars.

In the spring and throughout the seasons, dozens of perennials display a kaleidoscope of color. In summer, the lush tree canopy overhead provides an abundance of shade. These same trees are set ablaze with various hues of red, yellow and orange as autumn descends on the region. And during the winter months, watch giant snowflakes gather on window ledges and tree branches from the warm comfort of your room.

Whether snow is falling or fragrant lilacs are in bloom, relax in the secluded, outdoor Jacuzzi during your privately reserved time.

Two cats, Blue and Indi, reside at the Inn. They are not usually permitted in the common areas or the guest rooms. Even though the Inn uses air purifiers and a filtration system in our heating and cooling systems, if you suffer from severe allergies, you may want to search for accommodations without pets.
