Edith Palmer House
There are four guestrooms in this building, which was built in 1863. The office, the parlor, and the breakfast room are also located in this house. Each of the four rooms has a queen bed and a private bath. Rates range from $85 to $125 per night for two people.
Edith's Room
The morning sun will gently greet you. The old iron and brass bed in this upstairs room has been in Virginia City for well over one hundred years. The bathroom is of generous size and has a bathtub/shower.
Marilyn's Room
While filming the Misfits in nearby Dayton, Marilyn Monroe stayed at the Inn. Marilyn's Room is named in her honor. Sunbeams stream throughout this upstairs room in the afternoon. There is a hide-a-way twin bed so the room can sleep three. An extra person charge applies if used. The bathroom has a shower.

Maggie Belle's Room
Maggie Belle's Room is named in honor of Pat's grandmother. This downstairs room is distinguished by a bay window, which overlooks the courtyard. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower.

Evelyn's Room
Evelyn's Room is named in honor of Leisa's mother. You enter the room through a private entrance on the courtyard. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower.


Storey House
Built in the 1870's, this building has two family suites. Breakfast is not provided with these suites. Clean towels will be provided daily, but there is no other housekeeping. Each suite is set up for 4 people, but can accommodate more for an additional charge. Rates are $200 for a weekend, $300 for a three-day weekend, and $500 per week.
Sun Mountain Suite
Nestled against Sun Mountain, the afternoon sun lights up these rooms. This suite has a bedroom, a private bath, and living-kitchenette area. There is a queen bed in the bedroom, and a double hide-a-bed in the living area. The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave oven.

Sugarloaf Suite
Overlooking the Sugarloaf Mountain, the morning sun greets you. This suite has a bedroom, a private bath, and living-kitchenette area. There is a queen bed in the bedroom, and a queen hide-a-bed in the living area. The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave oven.


Silver Street House
Built at the "Turn of the Century", this building completes the property with an additional four guestrooms. The rooms are named for the four Irish miners who became known as the Silver Kings of the Comstock. Each of the four rooms has a queen bed and a private bath. Rates range from $85 to $125 per night for two people.

John Mackay Room
South facing windows, in this upstairs room, overlook the historic Fourth Ward School below on C Street.

William O'Brien Room
The famous "One Hundred Mile View" can be seen from the east facing windows in this upstairs room.

James Flood Room
The famous "One Hundred Mile View" can be seen from the east facing windows in this downstairs room.

Jim Fair Room
The south facing window in this downstairs room overlooks the historic Fourth Ward School below on C Street and the west facing window has a view of hillside gardens.

Policies:

  • Storey County collects a 10% Room Tax.
  • Smoking is allowed in the gardens only.
  • No pets allowed.
  • Check-in time: 4 to 6 p.m.
  • Check-out time: 12 noon.
