From the moment you enter our beautiful grounds, you know you've arrived somewhere special. Located in the charming seaside village of Guysborough, Nova Scotia, DesBarres Manor Inn offers you quiet luxury by the sea. Built in 1837 for Supreme Court Justice W.F. DesBarres, our magnificent manor home has been meticulously restored to its original grandeur. Elegant common spaces, a grand deck, original art, fine antiques and warm, attentive service all provide you with an atmosphere of comfort and relaxation.

A full breakfast is served each morning and is included with your stay.

DesBarres Manor Inn offers you luxurious accommodations with 10 spacious and unique guest rooms, each named after a local geographic feature or historical person. Each guestroom is beautifully decorated with rich fabrics, antiques, original art as well as plush terry robes and 600 thread count bedding on king, queen and double beds. You can expect additional in-room amenities such as telephones, Internet access, color cable TV, four-piece baths, hair dryers and Caswell-Massey "Gifts of the Sea" bath products.
