Scarborough House is a luxurious bed and breakfast offering hospitality and charm to guests seeking the tranquility and excitement of the New Mexico spirit. Located in Alto, New Mexico off scenic Highway 220 at the beautiful Ranches of Sonterra, Scarborough House is near Spencer Theater, Sierra Blanca Airport, and only a short distance from the Ruidoso area's dining, shopping, cultural attractions and entertainment for all appetites. Rustic elegance and Feng Shui considerations create an ambiance of warmth and harmony in interior design. Spacious guestrooms feature high ceilings, private tiled baths (two with whirlpools), wood burning fireplaces, central air/heat, satellite television, fine linens, hair dryer, plush robes and entry to deck. The wrap-around deck provides guests with opportunities for soaking in the hot tub under the stars with panoramic views of mountain vistas and sunsets. Scarborough House is truly designed for optimal pleasure in all seasons.

Gourmet breakfasts provide guests with epicurean adventures, including such dishes as our version of Eggs Benedict, traditional green Chile specialties, and fresh baked pastries. Afternoon hors d'oeuvres and fresh baked cookies each evening expand the delight of this secluded indulgence.

Rates and Policies
  • Rates range from $149 to $209.
  • Rates are based on room location and are for single or double occupancy.
  • There is a 2 guest limit for each room.
  • Rates do not include applicable state and local taxes (9.375%) and are subject to change without notice until reservation is confirmed.
  • We will be closed September 2 - 30, 2008.
  • Reservation confirmations are mailed when we receive a deposit of 50% of the cost of your stay.
  • In the event of a cancellation, your deposit will be refunded with 14 days advance notice (30 days for holiday periods and special events.)
  • During holiday periods, a longer minimum stay may be required.
  • Discounts not applicable during holiday periods.
  • Check-In: 4 pm. Special arrangements can be made in advance.
  • Check-Out: 11 am.
  • No Smoking.
  • No pets allowed.
