Java Junction Bed & Breakfast

Our bed and breakfast sleeps two in a queen-size bed, with a cot for a third, and includes amenities such as a six foot soaking claw foot tub, full kitchen, television, air-conditioning and a private patio. Our continental breakfast offers fresh croissants, muffins, breads or breakfast burritos (a local New Mexican favorite) and, of course, fabulous coffees, espresso drinks and juices, all from our shop downstairs. And, of course, we have wireless internet.

Located on the Turquoise Trail, halfway between Santa Fe and Albuquerque, Madrid, New Mexico, is a year-round destination for any visitor to the Southwest. A coal mining company town at the beginning of the 20th century, and ghost town in the 1960's, Madrid (pronounced MAD-rid) re-emerged in the 1970's and is now home to more artists per capita than any other town in the country. With only some 400 residents, Madrid's Main Street thrives with unique artisan shops, galleries and eateries created in turn-of-the-century homes.

Take in the vast array of colorful hot sauces and novelty coffee mugs. Order a steaming cup of aromatic fresh brew and a warm chocolate croissant. Browse the t-shirts and western hats before choosing a patio table in the high desert sunshine. Here, sit back and enjoy being part of the funky, eclectic, historic small-town atmosphere of Madrid.

While you're visiting, enjoy one of our many yummy hot or cold coffee drinks: espressos, capuccinos, Border mochas, lattes, frappuccinos, hot chocolates, herbal teas and more. We use the finest ingredients available; locally roasted coffee beans, Italy's finest Illy brand espresso and Ghirardelli chocolate. We offer fresh pastries, sandwiches, breakfast burritos, pie, cookies, brownies, breads and bagels. Java Junction's selection of over 50 different hot sauces is unsurpassed. Try Java's very own Road Kill Hot Sauce, or our wide selection of local specialty items include Coyote Cafe Salsas, Desert Gardens Green Chile Stew, Cibola Junction Jalapeno-Raspberry Preserves and Anne's Country Cupboard Jalapeno-Cheddar Biscuit Mix.
