The Chocolate Turtle Bed and Breakfast can provide intimate ceremonies and receptions that you and your guests will always remember at our beautiful, unique New Mexico wedding location. For your outdoor, Albuquerque area wedding, the ever-changing Sandia Mountains provide a breathtaking, magical background for your special event. A graceful mimosa tree and the garden of fragrant native shrubs and flowers that surrounds the patio, featuring a rustic arbor covered with lace vine, provide a pastoral setting for your wedding ceremony. The arch, with the mountains as the background, will frame you and your bridal party in a romantic setting as you take your vows. For your New Mexico Wedding reception, the large portal and patio can be set up in a variety of seating and table arrangements to meet your preference. During the cooler months, the Great Room with the deep turquoise wall surrounding the fireplace provides a dramatic background for small weddings, elopements, and renewing vows.

The Turtle provides a perfect venue to celebrate your wedding or union with your loved ones for the entire weekend. By reserving the entire B&B for the weekend for your intimate wedding, reception and guests - your family and friends can spend the weekend together, enjoying each others company. The romantic Sandia Room with a private patio will enable the bride and groom a quiet recluse while enabling them to continue celebrating with their loved ones. Even though a picture may be worth a thousand words, a visit to the Chocolate Turtle is the best way to see if this is the perfect location for your special day. We can prepare a personal wedding package tailored just for you.

Having a wedding too large for us to accommodate? Reserve the Chocolate Turtle for your special guests coming from out of town. The Turtle will provide the perfect venue for family members who don’t get to see each other very often to gather, catch up and relax during the wedding weekend.
