We have 33 rooms, each individually decorated with local flavor, antiques and artistic treasures. Enjoy kiva fireplaces, viga ceilings, Mexican tiled baths, patios, balconies and extensive gardens. For your pleasure we offer two outdoor hot tubs, down comforters and luxury linens cable TV, VCR's and free movies. Fantastic gourmet breakfasts are served by Barbara & Tom in our cheery dining room.

Rio Grande 		The gracious past is present at elegant Casa Benavides Bed and Breakfast. Enjoy wood-burning fireplaces, private baths with Mexican tiles, patios, balconies and extensive gardens, handmade and antique furniture, cable TV, VCR's and free videos, two outdoor hot tubs, artistic treasures in individually decorated rooms. Hot water heat is individually controlled in each room. Down comforters and luxury linens are also in each bed and breakfast room. Free local calls in office and a private telephone room. Fax service available. Some rooms have kitchens and some have refrigerators, all have ceiling fans and/or air-conditioning and skylights. State and National Historic Taos Registry.

great places! Well thank you Taos and we hope we can continue to please our guests and our community.

Casa Benavides is located 1/2 block east of Taos Plaza. All the buildings are historical, of adobe construction with viga ceilings (some with cedar latillas), most with wood burning fireplaces, private baths with Mexican tiles, air conditioning and/or ceiling fans, cable TV, VCR's, covered portals and extensive colorful gardens. Each room is individually decorated with local flavor using hand made furniture, antiques and artistic treasures. Each room has down comforters and luxury linens. There is a massage room, two outdoor hot tubs, handicapped accessibility, and on the premises parking. Included is a "KILLER" breakfast and fantastic afternoon tea with home baked goodies served in a colorful dining room filled with early Taos artist's paintings; all for your comfort and pleasure by Innkeepers who pay attention to detail.

Casa Benavides provides the perfect backdrop for your Taos wedding. Our courtyard and gardens offer a wonderful
outdoor setting while our indoor rooms express unique southwest charm and ambience. Conveniently located in the
heart of Taos, Casa Benavides is within walking distance of the plaza, restaurants, galleries, and shops.

Guest Information
  • Room Rates Are Based On Double Occupancy, $15 Per Extra Person.
  • This is a non-smoking Inn, but smoking is permitted outdoors.
  • Children are welcome. Cribs are furnished free of charge. Parent or adult must accompany all children under 18 years of age when using hot tub.
  • We can accommodate small conference groups.
  • Sorry, no pets.
  • Check in: 3 to 7 PM; Check out: 11 AM. Let us know in advance if you need to check in earlier or later.
  • Deposit: One night minimum, 1/2 the stay for reservations over 1 night.
  • Payment: Cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.
  • Cancellations: Must be made 10 days prior to reservation date to assure refund of deposit.
  • Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to arrival forfeit deposit or deposit can be held for later use.
