Casa Adobe B&B

Casa Adobe B&B is a private, stand-alone, single bedroom/bath hacienda (one queen bed + one full sofa bed) that can accommodate a maximum of four guests (for example, two couples or perhaps two individuals).

Experience the magic and grandeur of the Chiricahua Mountains (just a 5 minute drive from Casa Adobe) for fabulous day hiking, bird watching, extended backpacking, horseback riding, or mountain biking experiences. Take to the wild blue yonder in one of the Sky Gypsy's ultralight aircraft to get the really big picture of the local mountains and deserts. Granite Gap and City of Rocks State Park offer world-class bouldering, scrambling, and technical rock climbing that is on a par with Joshua Tree National Park in California ~ without the crowds of course.

Several fine art and crafts galleries are located in Rodeo within an easy stroll from Casa Adobe. Galleries include the Roger McKasson Studio & Gallery featuring original oils, watercolors, and bronze sculptures; the Chiricahua Gallery featuring the works of numerous local artists and craftspersons; and the Desert Moon Gallery featuring fine art landscape photographs and hand-drawn desert graphics (under construction). If wine tasting suits you, plan a visit to Colibri Vineyard in nearby Whitetail Canyon.

When you finish with all that exhausting activity, return to Casa Adobe for a relaxing shower followed by dinner at the Rodeo Tavern (a block away ~ you can walk!). Or prepare your own dinner in the privacy of your own ranch-style kitchen. End the day by relaxing on your veranda and gazing up into a black star-studded sky the likes of which is rarely witnessed by mere mortals.

• Reservations for more than one night that are cancelled more than 72 hours in advance will not be charged for the additional nights.
• Reservations cancelled less than 72 hours in advance will be charged the full amount of the reserved stay. The reservation deposit is non-refundable.
• Visa or MasterCard only, debit card, or cash are acceptable forms of payment.
• Check-in time is 2 - 6 PM (MST) unless advance arrangements are made. Check-out time is 11 AM.
• Maximum Stay: Seven (7) nights (Please inquire to make special arrangements.....Thank you!)
• Minimum Stay: One (1) night; no partial nights or fractional payments.
• Breakfast/Meal Options.....(choose one per group)...Option#1: Guests may serve themselves breakfast at Casa Adobe and select from a delectable variety of home baked muffins, coffee cake, fresh fruit, orange juice, hot coffee, hot oatmeal, cold cereals, yogurt and local free-range chicken eggs. Option #2: Each guest is provided a breakfast coupon (a $10 value) redeemable at either the Rodeo Grocery & Cafe (closed Sundays), the Rodeo Country Store & RV Park, or the Portal Peak Cafe. All three cafe venues feature wholesome country style cooking.
• A washer and dryer are available for guest use in Casa Adobe.
• There is just one gas station in the Rodeo/Portal area at the Rodeo Country Store & RV Park.
• House cleaning services are provided every third day (or once per 7-day stay). Daily cleaning is available upon request for an additional fee of $25 per day.
• Local and toll-free calls may be made from Casa Adobe. Long distance calls will require a calling card or other form of payment. Note...There is NO cellular phone coverage in the Rodeo area.
• A large flat-screen LCD TV, DVD player + DVD selections are provided for guests at Casa Adobe.
• One pet (small dog or cat) is permitted with a non-refundable deposit of $75/night. Guests are responsible for the well being of their pets and shall not hold Casa Adobe or its affiliates liable in any capacity for lost, stolen, injured or sick pets. Damage caused by pets (e.g., torn curtains, damaged furnishings, urination or excrement inside dwelling, etc.) will be charged to the guest account.
