Bear Mountain Lodge Bed & Breakfast-Silver City, New Mexico

Tucked away on 178 acres bordering the Gila National Forest, Bear Mountain Lodge provides beautiful views and nature trails just a stone's throw away. Learn about the area's extensive plant and animal life from our lodge naturalist. More than 300 species of birds migrate through these parts, making the Lodge a haven for bird watchers. Ask our lodge naturalist about monthly nature activities and conservation workshops.

Spend a day hiking in the Gila Wilderness -- the nation's first designated wilderness area. Or take a short walk on the Lodge's interpretive nature trail. Bring binoculars. One-third of North America's native birds migrate through these parts. Bike the region's backroads and fish area lakes. Visit deserted ghost towns or stroll Silver City's historic streets.

Bear Mountain Lodge offers eleven luxuriously furnished rooms, hardwood floors, handcrafted southwestern and Mission-style furnishings, private baths and delicious home-cooked meals. Our rooms are housed in three distinct buildings.

At Bear Mountain Lodge you can relax under a star-filled sky, discover Silver City's galleries and historic buildings, bike high mountain trails and savor our mouth-watering meals. Come to explore, learn or just to relax at this unique bed and breakfast.
