Elegant 1909 Georgian Colonial Revival on three quarters of an acre located in the historic town of Lambertville.

 Lambertville, New Jersey Bed & Breakfast: York Street House is a gracious thirteen-room Manor House located in the historic town of Lambertville. Built in 1909 by early industrialist George Massey, it was a twenty-fifth wedding anniversary gift for his beloved wife. Massey was one of the early industrialists who settled his family in this river village just after the turn of the century. In 1911, the home was featured as House & Garden magazine's Home of the Year. The heart of the inn features a winding three-story staircase that leads to six guest rooms, some with queen- or king-size canopy beds. All rooms have private baths.

Chamber 1
is our guests' favorite room. It boasts a private bath with shower and a two-person Jacuzzi tub! Enjoy the queen-size carved four poster bed, sitting area, TV, air conditioning and ceiling fan, electric Franklin stove, robes, scented bath oils, shampoo and soaps.

This room features a small regency desk, a queen-size black iron canopy bed draped with yards and yards of lace, a fireplace, cable television, air-conditioning and ceiling fan, bathrobes and a private bath with shower.

The bath features a bay window and window seat. There is a full shower/Jacuzzi tub and pedestal sink. You'll find bathrobes and an array of all natural bath products. The queen-size cherry four poster bed displays a Greek hand-tied canopy. Cozy reading chairs and reading lamp provide the perfect invitation to relax in front of your fireplace.

Chamber 4
This bedchamber is a bright, sunny room with a window seat in the bay window, overlooking the side gardens. The brass and iron queen-size bed, electric Franklin stove, Victorian furniture and antique prints lend a quaint ambiance to the room. The bathroom has a stained glass window, pedestal sink and footed tub. We provide the bath salts, fluffy towels and robes.

Walk up our winding staircase and Chamber 6, our two room suite, is waiting for you! The king-size, wrought iron canopy bed allows you plenty of space to stretch out and relax along with the two person jacuzzi in the sitting room. An electric Franklin stove is also a feature in this room.

Chamber 7
If you like bright sunny places, Chamber 7 will beckon you. It has three windows in the eaves, giving you a great view of the surrounding town. Get ready to snuggle into the queen-size canopy bed or relax and read in the sitting area in front of the electric fireplace. The private bathroom, right across the hall has a claw foot bathtub and shower. We provide fluffy towels, robes, hair dryer and fine soaps and shampoos.

Rates and Policies

  • Rates are effective through August 29.
  • Accommodations at York Street House are available for two-night weekend stays.
  • Single night stays available SUNDAY thru FRIDAY only.
  • Weeklong stays may be discounted depending upon the season.
  • Holiday and special event rates slightly higher.
  • Corporate account/rates available.
  • Gift Certificates Available.
  • All rates subject to change and based on one or two person occupancy.
  • One night lodging deposit minimum required or 50% deposit for total lodging reservations on credit card or personal check within 72 hours will confirm your reservation.
  • All reservations will require a valid credit card on file.
  • Reservations will be confirmed within five days of receipt of your deposit.
  • If you cancel within 72 hours of booking your reservation for lodging, your deposit will be refunded (minus a $20 service charge/room reserved).
  • Balance of lodging cost is due upon arrival.
  • If you cancel less than 14 days in advance of your reserved dates, your deposit will be returned (minus 50% of the total Inn lodging cost) per room if your room(s) has been rented.
  • Cancellation of less than 14 days will be billed for 100% of the total lodging cost if room/rooms has not been rented.
  • We regret we cannot accommodate pets or young children at this time.
  • York Street House is a smoke free establishment. Smoking is permitted outside only.
