Each of our six guestrooms includes private baths, luxurious bedding and amenities, cable TV, electric fireplaces and air conditioning. Several rooms offer whirlpool baths. Rice's is a 15 minute drive from Lambertville and New Hope. Spend the rest of the day in the New Hope area, antiquing and exploring their many shops. On Wednesday morning, after breakfast, we suggest stopping at the antiques flea market just one mile south of Lambertville. Then take a drive north to Frenchtown for shopping and lunch, then on to Flemington for outlet shopping...or head west to Lahaska Pa for antiques and outlets and if time permits, the historical and art museums in Doylestown. We start with a fruit course, like our strawberry blossoms. Our fruit selection is based on seasonal availability. One of our main courses may be Pecan Belgium waffles topped with caramelized bananas. We vary our breakfasts depending on the season and selection of the freshest ingredients. There may be no need for lunch. York Street House freshly grinds and brews its coffee. Fresh orange juice is always on the menu to start your day. Special diets accommodated by advance request. For our kosher guests, please let us know how we may assist you with your dietary requirements. Even though we are not certified kosher, we use all OU or K products and serve dairy or vegetarian only. We understand the laws of kashrut and shomer shabbot and look forward to serving your needs. Now available for our kosher guests - a microwave that can be used in your room. Also, with advanced notice, we can pick up certified, kosher food from Kosher Experience in the Lawrenceville ShopRite for your stay. (Additional charge depending on your selection.) |

For small meetings, our parlor can hold groups up to 12. If you'd prefer classroom or theater style, we can also accommodate your needs. Our library or dining room can be used as break out rooms for any mid-morning or afternoon snacks and lunch is served in our dining room. All areas are private so that you will be able to conduct your meeting in a quiet, relaxed space. Audio and visual needs can be provided, along with fax and wireless, high speed internet access. If you wish to book our meeting space for more than one day, York Street House can accommodate the participants of your meeting in six, spacious rooms with private baths, cable TV and air conditioning. If your group consists of more than we can accommodate, we would be pleased to book additional rooms on your behalf at other nearby inns. All meals and refreshments for your entire group can be served at York Street House. Our business is to help you do yours.
