This splendid home built in 1905 by the Justice of the Peace and a founding family for Stanhope was turned into a... Whistling Swan Inn - Stanhope, New Jersey ... bed and breakfast guest house in 1985, has had three major restoration segments and is known for its hospitality.

Located 45 miles west of New York City and 1 mile north of Interstate 80 just off of Route 206, we are centrally located and have access to public transportation.

Whistling Swan Inn is known to have well appointed conveniences for the mid-week business traveler as well as for the comfort in accommodations for the getaway, leisure guest. Near several business parks, this small rural town is perfectly located for activities in the relaxation mode including museums, restaurants, antiquing, hiking, horseback riding, minor league baseball, skiing, ice fishing, many winter sports, outlet shopping, beautiful drives in northwestern New Jersey and much, much more.
