Breakfast & Tea

Breakfast Menu...
  • Ice cold fresh orange juice to wake you up.
  • Gourmet cinnamon coffee or a variety of Pitney House herbal teas.
  • Hot homemade muffins created daily - morning glories, fresh lemon zest, and tropical fruit cup, to name a few.
  • Seasonal fresh fruit bowl, seasonal cold fruit soups, yogurt with fresh fruit or homemade preserves are some of the items served as your second course.
  • Our hot entree is a creative specialty, which could be any of the following: Egg Soufflé, Stuffed French Toast, Puffed Fruit Pancake, and Three Cheese Egg Bake, to name a few.
Country Kitchen
Breakfast is served at 8:00 am. At times, we have two sittings at 8:00 am and 9:30 am. We always try to garnish with our own fresh herbs and flowers from our gardens. If there is a dietary requirement such as kosher requests or vegetarian, etc., please let us know ahead of time and we will accommodate you the best we can.

Afternoon teas are served 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm by request, and storytelling of the Pitney House history is a favorite topic for our guests. Relax and converse with other guests in the Granville Room over hot tea (iced in the Summertime) and savory sweets and pastries made in our own Country Kitchen. For special occasions in the winter months, enjoy homemade soups and breads in place of tea and treats. You also have the opportunity to purchase the Pitney House collectible pottery mug and our special teas to take home with you.
