| In a relaxed atmosphere, you can enjoy comfortable and serene four poster Queen bedded rooms, furnished with the warmth of antiques, and all with private baths, flat screen cable TV, writing desk and a comfortable reading chair. Guests will enjoy the use of the high-speed wireless internet throughout the entire home and have their own Library and business center equipped with cable TV, computer, printer, scanner, books, games, puzzles and an abundance of reading material a good place to curl up in front of the fireplace. Snacks, hot and cold beverages are always available. |

After a comfortable night's sleep, you can start your day with a homemade country breakfast served in front of a cozy fireplace in our spacious dining area, or outside at our garden table on the terrace, adjacent to the fragrant Herbary Walk. Although our Inn is in a rural setting, you are only a few miles from several Golf Courses, an indoor ice skating arena, antiquing, museums, county and 4-H fairs, art centers, wineries, concerts, ballooning and dinner theatres. We are just two miles away from a modern golf-driving range, miniature golf, and putting green. Our area abounds with many quality restaurants from casual to special occasion, and we'll be happy to make any reservations you require. A bit farther away, but still close by, you can visit Flemington - the home of discount shopping, Bucks County with its quaint shops, restaurants, museums, canal boat rides, Washington Crossing Park, Pearl Buck's Green Hills Farm, and many activities too numerous to mention - all seasonal, of course. But, if all this activity is not what you have in mind, you can just "hang out" on our three quiet acres. You can enjoy a dip, take a sunbath, pitch some horseshoes, or if you really do miss home, you can help us weed the gardens or feed our sheep. |

Astonishingly, this replica of an English country manor was originally built as a cow barn over 65 years ago. The original Innkeepers Anne and Joe Fosbre performed the transformation over 16 years ago, when they turned the cinder block cow barn into a family home with an impressively massive "great room" and a gallery above where the hayloft used to be. A then delightful bed and breakfast inn came into being. Perhaps the first impression of the Holly Thorn is one of size. The "Great Room" goes on and on. It pushes out into all angles. It holds two fireplaces, two separate seating arrangements, an open kitchen with dining area and a grand piano, artfully arranged with room to spare. Simultaneously you'll notice the gracious Olde World charm of the house. Mellow hued walls are covered with ornately framed sketches, paintings and photographs. |
| Gleaming copper pots hang over the kitchen area. A collection of old prints, antique toys and picture frames fill shelves and tables and are displayed throughout the inn. Antiques, lend style and sophistication to an already fascinating home. | Guests who stay at the Holly Thorn not only share in all this, but also have their own sitting room upstairs. It has the "gentleman's club" ambiance that gentle women admire too; complete with leather sofas, a wet bar, television and a library. |
| Downstairs a billiard room and game table promote recreation time and an outside swimming pool makes a big splash with guests. And, oh yes ...this wonderful place is a bed & breakfast with five attractive, restful rooms each with four poster Queen Bed, private bath, its share of antiques, a comfy arm chair and a desk for business guests each with phone and computer port equipped. A large suite for up to 4 people is also available. The inn is centrally air conditioned and boasts 4 fireplaces for chilly weather for pure comfort and relaxation. |
