Conveniently located just a few steps from the beach and world famous boardwalk, Carisbrooke Inn Bed & Breakfast offers the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the pleasures of the Jersey Shore! The original Carisbrooke Inn was a grand ocean front hotel which took its name from a castle located on the Isle of Wight in the picturesque resort town of Ventnor, England. Built in 1891, this fine hotel served as the center of all social and political life as the town of Ventnor, New Jersey evolved. Unfortunately, this beautiful hotel was demolished in the winter of 1910-11. All are now cordially invited to experience the romance and elegance of an earlier era, as we at the new Carisbrooke Inn pay tribute to the Carisbrooke Inn of days gone by! |
